Booking Charter Conditions: A charter is not deemed booked until a completed booking form, a deposit of one quarter of the total fee has been received and confirmation of the booking given by SailEzra. The balance of the total fee must be paid in full at least four weeks before the start of the charter. Payment can be made by cheque or bank transfer. If, for any reason, the client wishes to cancel the booking, notice should be given as soon as possible and every effort shall be made by SailEzra to re-charter the berth(s). If the berth(s) is re-chartered for that period the advance payment shall be refunded to the charterer less 50% to cover the expenses of re-chartering. If no suitable charter is found then the original client is liable for the full charter fee. ( Holiday insurance covers most causes of cancellation). The charter will normally start at 2 p.m. on the first day (Saturday) of the charter or at an agreed time. If circumstances beyond the control of SailEzra do not permit the boat or a suitable alternative being available then the whole of the fee will be refunded and the client shall have no further claim on SailEzra. If however the delay is due to the late return of a previous charter due to adverse weather conditions the client will be compensated by one and half times the daily rate per day up to two days. If after this time the boat is not available the balance of the full charter will be repaid. Comprehensive insurance of the boat is included in the fee including third party liability up to £2,000,000.00. The insurance does not cover personal effects or vehicles left ashore. SailEzra shall not be held liable for the death or injury to the client or any person that is a member of his or her party.
